Hi, everyone!
First of all, please allow me, on behalf of the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Sydney, to extend my sincere greetings to all of you.
Today, in the face of the opportunities and challenges brought about by global warming, we need more communication and mutual learning. China and Australia have great potential for cooperation in areas such as the economy, science and technology, culture, and education.
Young people are participants in friendship and cooperation, as well as contributors and beneficiaries. Today, we have 250,000 Chinese international students studying in Australia. At the same time, an increasing number of Australian students are choosing China as an important destination for their graduation trips, exchange programs, and internships.
Meanwhile, more and more people are seeking opportunities and creating value.
中澳两国友谊需要一代代人传递下去。青年是社会最富有活力和创造力的群体，希望两国青年继续秉持开放、包容、合作、共赢的理念，为增进两国人民友谊作出更大贡献。The friendship between China and Australia needs to be passed down from generation to generation. Young people are the most dynamic and creative group in society. It is hoped that the youth of both countries will continue to uphold the principles of openness, inclusiveness, cooperation, and mutual benefit, and make even greater contributions to strengthening the friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
还有越来越多的年轻人，像我们今天在座的年轻企业家，参与到中澳两国的经贸交往中来，在其中拓展自己的个人发展，找到更多的机遇和空间。国与国之间也一样，正需要我们这样一代又一代的年轻人参与到其中，把友谊传递下去。年轻人是最有活力、最有创造力的。所以我也特别希望我们中澳之间的年轻人会继续保持开放和包容的精神，为中澳两国的友谊，为双边关系的发展继续注入更多的活力。最后也祝今天的活动圆满成功。And an increasing number of young people, like the young entrepreneurs present here with us today, are becoming involved in the economic and trade exchanges between China and Australia. Through this, they are expanding their own personal development and discovering more opportunities and room for growth. The same is true for relations between countries. What we need is for generation after generation of young people like us to take part and pass on this friendship. Young people are the most energetic and the most creative. Therefore, I especially hope that young people in both China and Australia will continue to uphold a spirit of openness and inclusiveness, and keep bringing new vitality to the friendship between our two countries and to the development of bilateral relations. Finally, I wish today’s event every success.

澳洲中国东北总商会会长、企业家张亚鸣在论坛发言中结合自己35年前从事人工智能机器人路径规划研究的经历，分享了对AI发展的思考。他表示，AI不会取代人类，而是帮助人类提升能力，关键在于以智慧和责任运用科技。他勉励青年一代坚守诚信、勇于创新、脚踏实地、把握机遇，同时加强跨文化交流与合作，成为连接不同文化和国家的桥梁，共同创造更加包容和美好的未来。In his speech at the forum, Zhang Yaming, President of the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia, shared his thoughts on the development of AI, drawing on his experience 35 years ago in researching path planning for artificial intelligence robots. He stated that AI will not replace humans, but rather help humans enhance their capabilities; the key lies in using technology with wisdom and responsibility. He encouraged the younger generation to uphold integrity, be courageous in innovation, be down-to-earth, seize opportunities, and strengthen cross-cultural exchange and cooperation, becoming bridges connecting different cultures and countries to jointly create a more inclusive and better future.

随后吴翔辉、王俊杰、张亦康、张栋峰、李静、韩雅琦等青年侨领、青年企业家代表发言，围绕中澳民间交流、青年合作及经贸联动等议题展开分享，强调侨界在促进两国社会理解与合作中的桥梁作用。Following this, representatives of young overseas Chinese leaders and young entrepreneurs, including Wu Xianghui, Wang Junjie, Zhang Yikang, Zhang Dongfeng, Li Jing, and Han Yaqi, delivered speeches, sharing their insights on topics such as people-to-people exchanges between China and Australia, youth cooperation, and economic and trade linkages. They emphasised the bridging role of the overseas Chinese community in promoting understanding and cooperation between the two societies.
论坛期间，来自不同族裔背景的青年代表围绕人工智能时代的人才培养、创新创业、社区参与及跨文化沟通等议题展开讨论。During the forum, youth representatives from different ethnic backgrounds discussed topics such as talent cultivation, innovation and entrepreneurship, community participation, and cross-cultural communication in the era of artificial intelligence.
与会者普遍认为，在全球联系日益紧密的今天，不同文明之间的理解与尊重比以往任何时候都更加重要。华裔青年与多元族群青年共同构成澳大利亚社会的重要组成部分，也是推动文明交流互鉴的重要力量。Participants generally agreed that in today’s increasingly interconnected world, understanding and respect between different civilisations are more important than ever. Chinese youth, along with youth from other ethnic groups, constitute an important part of Australian society and are a vital force in promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning.
主办方表示，未来将继续推动跨文化青年交流机制建设，打造更加开放、多元、包容的青年合作平台，为促进澳中友好与文明互鉴贡献青年智慧与力量。The organiser stated that they will continue to promote the development of cross-cultural youth exchange mechanisms, create a more open, diverse, and inclusive youth cooperation platform, and contribute youth wisdom and strength to promoting Australia-China friendship and mutual learning among civilisations.
